20 days later... I'm alive, at least. And while NaNoWriMo has taken its toll - I've finally emerged. Yes, I know, to you all that are still writing - you're all saying "There's still time left!" and I know that... but as far as I go, I'll be either adding bits and pieces or giving my wrist a break, finally. Because my story is -done-.
125,834 words later... a storyline that has been in my mind for five long years has finally made it onto paper - and this only marks the second time I've actually finished a novel. The last one being only 12,000 words... (And does that even count?) In any case - it's going to be a return to the... shards of social life I had previously. This Phoenix's NaNoWriMo 2008 journey is on the landing strip and coming to an end... good luck, everyone.
